If FX or precious metals positions are held during rollover, you could incur swap fees. The swap rate is the interest rate differential between the two currencies of the pair you are trading. It’s calculated based on whether your position is short or long. Please note: The swap rates listed below may be subject to fluctuations due to volatilities and are reviewed and updated on a daily basis.

Any Questions?
The security of clients' funds is our highest priority at JFD Overseas. All client funds are held in a separate, segregated account with a highly reputable credit institution.
No, JFD Overseas are not scammers, and here’s why:
JFD Overseas is licensed and listed by a financial regulator
JFD Overseas Ltd — Company registration number 17933 — Licensed for Class A, B and C — Active since 17-Jan-2023. The company's licenses are displayed on the website of VFSC Financial Dealers.
JFD Overseas is part of the JFD Group of Companies
JFD Overseas Ltd is part of the JFD Group of Companies. The JFD Group Ltd is incorporated in Cyprus and has been authorised by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under investment firm licence 150/11 since 5 August 2011.
It is important to understand that JFD Overseas Ltd and JFD Group Ltd are different legal entities with different regulatory authorisations.
If you open an account with JFD Overseas, your contractual relationship is with JFD Overseas Ltd and its regulatory framework, not automatically with the Cyprus-regulated company. We make this distinction clearly because clients should know exactly which legal entity provides their services.
Client funds are held separately
JFD Overseas states that client funds are held in segregated accounts, separate from the company's own funds, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. Client funds are held in a separate, segregated account with a reputable financial institution and that detailed records of client transactions are maintained.
Why does this matter? Because client funds and company funds are maintained and handled separately in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements.
There is a formal process for withdrawals
A genuine financial services company needs a functioning process for depositing and withdrawing client money.
JFD Overseas publishes its withdrawal procedures and allows clients to submit withdrawal requests. Bank withdrawals are returned by bank transfer, while certain electronic payment methods are also available depending on the payment method originally used.
JFD Overseas' withdrawals and refunds are normally returned to the original source of the deposit. This is part of our anti-money-laundering and financial-crime controls.
This does not mean that forex trading is risk-free or that every withdrawal is instant. It means there is a documented and traceable process for handling client funds.
JFD Overseas publishes its legal and regulatory documents
An important difference between a regulated financial company and an anonymous scam website is the availability of formal legal documentation.
JFD Overseas publicly provides legal documents including:
Client Agreement, Terms & Conditions, Risk Disclosure, Complaints Handling Policy, Conflicts of Interest Policy, Order Execution Policy, Privacy Policy and Leverage Policy.
These documents explain the contractual relationship, risks, how orders are handled, how complaints can be made and other important terms.
A client should read the documents that apply to their specific account before trading.
There are regulatory rules governing licensed financial dealers
The VFSC does not simply publish a list of companies and stop there.
Its regulatory framework includes licensing requirements, ongoing supervision, AML/CFT requirements, record-keeping requirements and the ability to take enforcement action against financial dealers that do not meet their obligations.
The VFSC's market-practice and code-of-conduct guidance also sets standards for licensed dealers covering integrity, fair dealing, acting in good faith, exercising care and diligence, and prohibiting manipulative or deceptive conduct.
This does not mean that a regulator guarantees that every trade will make money. It means that a licensed financial dealer operates within a regulatory framework and is subject to regulatory obligations.
There is a complaints process
JFD Overseas publishes a Complaints Handling Policy as part of its legal documentation.
The VFSC also has a formal process for complaints against licensed financial dealers. According to its published guidance, a client should first attempt to resolve the issue with the Company (JFD Overseas) through our own complaints process. Where the matter is not satisfactorily resolved, the complaint can then be brought to the VFSC under the applicable procedure.
Be careful about fake websites pretending to be JFD
There is another important reason people sometimes search “are JFD Overseas scammers”: fraudsters can impersonate legitimate financial companies.
JFD Overseas itself publishes a warning about fraudulent websites that have falsely claimed to be connected with JFD Overseas and attempted to obtain personal information, registration data or funds. We specifically advise investors to check whether a website is genuinely connected to us.
A website claiming to be JFD is not necessarily JFD. Always check the domain, the legal entity named in your agreement and the regulator's register.
What does regulation NOT mean?
Being regulated does not mean:
- You cannot lose money.
- Every trade will be profitable.
- Forex or CFD trading is safe.
- The broker guarantees your investment.
- There is no market risk.
- JFD can guarantee a particular return.
JFD Overseas claims that trading CFDs involves significant risk, and a high percentage of retail investor accounts lose money. This is exactly why regulation and risk disclosure matter: a legitimate broker should explain the risks rather than promise easy profits.
How can you verify JFD Overseas yourself?
You can independently check the most important information.
Company: JFD Overseas Ltd
Regulator: Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC)
Regulator license acquiring date: 17 Jan 2023
Company registration number: 17933
Company Status: Active
Website: www.jfdoverseas.com
The VFSC's public licence list confirms the active licence.
This is a fair question and the answer is "Yes". Here's why:
JFD Overseas is a regulated financial company
JFD Overseas Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) under Financial Dealers Licence No. 17933. The VFSC's public register currently lists the licence as Active. This matters because JFD Overseas is not operating as an anonymous website with no regulatory identity. The company has a recognised legal entity, a regulator and a specific licence that can be checked independently.
Your relationship with JFD Overseas is documented
When you open an account, you are not entering an undefined relationship with “some broker on the internet.” JFD Overseas identifies the legal entity providing the service and publishes the applicable Client Agreement, Terms & Conditions, Risk Disclosure, Order Execution Policy, Complaints Handling Policy and other legal documents. These documents set out the rights and obligations of both sides - including how your account, trades, fees, withdrawals and complaints are handled.
There is a formal complaints process
If you believe JFD Overseas has done something wrong, you can make a formal complaint under the company's published complaints procedure. That is important because a dispute does not have to end with “customer support said no.” There is a documented process for escalating and recording complaints.
Where appropriate, the relevant regulatory framework also provides an external avenue beyond the company itself.
Your money is not simply handed to the manager or company
JFD Overseas states that client funds are segregated from the company's own funds, subject to the applicable regulatory requirements. In practical terms, this means client money is treated separately rather than simply becoming part of the company's general operating funds.
Regarding JFD Overseas, you have an identifiable legal entity, a regulatory framework, contractual documentation, a formal complaints procedure and an external regulatory authority to which matters can potentially be escalated under the applicable rules. That does not mean “nothing can ever go wrong.” It means there are formal structures and channels through which a genuine dispute can be addressed.
Don't just trust a broker. Check who regulates it, which legal entity you are dealing with, what your agreement says, and what complaint procedures are available.
Both positive and negative reviews exist for JFD Overseas. But negative reviews under a page named "JFD Overseas" do not automatically mean that JFD Overseas deserves those reviews. There are several reasons why negative reviews appear, and a star rating alone does not tell the whole story. Here are the explanations:
JFD Overseas and other JFD entities can be confused
JFD Overseas Ltd and JFD Group Ltd are separate legal entities with separate regulatory authorisations. However, third-party websites can present information under the wider JFD / JFD Brokers brand.
For example, the JFD Brokers Trustpilot profile covers the JFD brand rather than presenting every review as a separately identified JFD Overseas case.
Forex Peace Army presents JFD Overseas information under a profile that includes both CySEC #150/11 and VFSC #17933. As a result, someone searching specifically for JFD Overseas can see a complaint involving another JFD entity and assume it concerns JFD Overseas. It may not.
A negative review is not a regulatory finding
A review is an individual's account of an experience. It is not automatically an investigation, court decision or regulatory finding. A statement such as “JFD is a scam” is a serious allegation. Its appearance on a review website does not, by itself, establish that the statement is true.
The important questions are:
Which legal entity was involved? What actually happened? Is the claim supported by evidence? Was there a finding by a regulator or court?
Those questions matter far more than the number of stars.
People who lose money are more likely to leave reviews
Forex and CFD trading involves financial risk. A client who loses money, has to complete additional verification, or disagrees with a trading decision is much more likely to leave a public review than a client who simply has a normal experience. That naturally means the most frustrated customers can be overrepresented in unsolicited online reviews.
It also helps explain why some complaints go straight to 1 star. Someone who believes they have had a very serious problem is far more likely to use the lowest rating available than to carefully distinguish between 2, 3 or 4 stars.
Always check the exact legal entity involved in the complaint.
Impersonation can create complaints that are not actually about JFD
Financial companies can be impersonated by third parties using company names, branding or similar websites.
JFD has publicly disputed cases where people described in complaints claimed to represent "JFD" but, according to JFD's response, were not affiliated with the company.
That distinction matters. A complaint containing the JFD name does not automatically prove that the underlying transaction was with JFD Overseas. Clients should verify the official website, legal entity, email address and payment details before sending money.
Even serious allegations cannot simply be removed by JFD Overseas
This is the most important point. There is a major difference between a customer saying:
“I had a bad experience with JFD.”
and publishing:
“JFD Overseas is a scam.”
The second is a serious allegation about the company.
JFD Overseas can challenge content that it believes is false, misleading, unlawful or otherwise violates the platform's rules. But JFD Overseas does not control the final moderation decision. The review platform does. And this is not merely a theoretical issue.
In March 2026, the Italian Competition Authority fined Trustpilot €4 million after finding, among other things, that aspects of its review and customer-invitation practices could affect the representativeness of ratings and mislead consumers. Trustpilot disputed the findings and said it would appeal.
Trustpilot had also come under significant independent scrutiny in December 2025. Reuters reported on allegations by Grizzly Research concerning Trustpilot's commercial and review practices. Trustpilot strongly rejected those allegations, so they should be understood as allegations, not established facts. The Financial Times reported on the same controversy.
There is also a broader problem across the online-review industry. The European Commission's review of 223 websites found that 104 did not adequately explain how reviews were collected and processed, 118 did not explain how fake reviews were prevented, and 176 did not clearly state whether incentivised reviews were prohibited. Authorities concluded that at least 55% of the websites examined potentially breached EU consumer-protection rules. This was a broad industry investigation, not a finding specifically against JFD or Trustpilot.
Independent consumer research has also documented the wider fake-review problem. Which? found Facebook groups trading reviews for platforms including Trustpilot, while The Guardian reported on businesses and individuals buying and selling fake Trustpilot reviews.
None of this means that every negative review is fake or that Trustpilot itself creates fake reviews. It means something much simpler:
Online review systems are not perfect, and the company being reviewed does not control the platform's moderation decisions.
So when JFD Overseas challenges a review, we can present evidence, explain our position and request action under the platform's rules. But we cannot simply order the platform to remove a damaging allegation because we believe it is false.
If the platform decides that the content does not breach its rules, the company's platform-level options can be limited. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, pursuing a disputed defamatory or unlawful statement further may require formal legal remedies rather than a normal content-removal request.
Therefore, seeing a statement such as “JFD Overseas is a scam” on a review website should not be confused with an independent finding that JFD Overseas is a scam.
Review websites are third-party platforms, not regulators
Trustpilot, Forex Peace Army, WikiFX, BrokersView and other review websites are third-party platforms. Their reviews can provide useful customer feedback, but their ratings are not regulatory decisions. A regulator's register, an official regulatory decision, a court judgment and a user-generated review are four very different things.
Reviews can remain online for years
Online reviews have a very long memory. A review from several years ago can continue appearing in search results even when the circumstances, procedures, products or account conditions have changed.
Forex Peace Army's current JFD Overseas page, for example, contains reviews attributed to "JFD Overseas" dating back many years, when actually JFD Overseas didn't exist (they place all "JFD" reviews under one entity, the one of JFD Overseas).
The date and circumstances of reviews therefore matter.
Some complaints can be genuine, but that does not make every allegation true
JFD Overseas does not claim that every client will have a perfect experience. Clients can have genuine complaints about withdrawals, verification, customer service, execution, trading conditions or other account matters.
Those complaints should be taken seriously and handled through the appropriate channels. But a genuine customer complaint and a conclusion that JFD Overseas is a scam are two different things.
JFD Overseas publishes a formal Complaints Handling Policy and provides a process for clients to raise complaints directly with the company.
When researching for "JFD reviews", look beyond the stars:
Check the legal entity.
Check the regulator.
Read the actual complaint.
Read JFD Overseas' response - if they have allowed us to reply
Check the date.
And check whether the reviewer was actually dealing with JFD Overseas.
That gives you a much more complete picture than a third-party rating alone.
